An experienced businessman, Chris Line started Helicentre as a small operation in the late 1990’s after identifying a gap in the market place for a dedicated professional pilot training academy. After humble beginnings with 1 helicopter and carrying out most of the flying himself, Chris now oversees a substantial operation which includes one of the biggest helicopter training academy’s in the world, a successful charter and utility operation, and multiple bases including an expanding training facility in the USA.

An experienced executive Katie co-founded Helicentre with Chris and has been instrumental in the Company’s success and expansion. Her expertise in the financial side of the business has resulted in the company having a strong foundation financially, allowing the company to continue its positive expansion year on year. Additionally Katie’s experience in Quality Assurance and Compliance has allowed her to ensure the company’s operational standards are maintained dealing with the many approvals the Company holds. If that wasn’t enough, Katie also oversees the ever increasing HR requirements of the Company.

Sarah joined the Helicentre team after training to become a flight instructor with the company in 2008. As her flying career progressed, Chris and Katie gave her the opportunity to work with them in developing the business, as well taking on a number of CAA responsibilities with the company. In 2011 Sarah became a Director and took on the role of Managing Director and Head of Training, and Helicentre supported her through training to become a Flight Examiner, FIC Instructor, and also, as of this year, Flight Instructor Examiner.
